Hi. I'm Becca.
I'm currently the Head of Creative at TheFeed.com where I’ve overhauled the look, feel and vibe of the brand across all platforms, activations and experiences, launched multiple video series, a monthly newspaper and an annual magazine. Previously, I was a creative director with Fortnight Collective, the agency, not the game, and I am currently the founder and CEO of Mortal Ventures, a company I started in 2017 and grew to $4+ million dollars in revenue across various product lines. Before all that, I freelanced for 10 years while founding a company (see above) and before that. Before that, I worked at Crispin Porter +Bogusky. Before and partially during that I was a professional cyclist while working at R/GA NY. Before that, I worked at Saatchi NY. Before that, I worked at Lowe NY, which is now Deutsch, which is now Omicom Corp (I think). Before that, I lived in San Francisco and worked at Riney, formerly Hal Riney, and now nothing at all while poaching trails on mountain bikes in Mill Valley. Before that, I went to the Creative Circus in Atlanta and before that, I worked as a hostess at a five-star restaurant in Princeton, NJ that closed down due to tax evasion. Before that, I worked in architecture doing PR and graphic design. Before that, I went to school at UW-Madison and triple-majored in Art History, Political Science and Italian while being one of the worst rowers on the country’s best Lightweight Crew Team. Before that, I sold Beanie Babies and collected TV Guides while I went to high school in New Jersey where I played the mellophone, the bass drum and the cymbals in the marching band; the bassoon in the orchestra; and the bass clarinet in the jazz band. I cannot play any of those anymore. Before that, I began playing piano and I can still play that and still do, quite often. Before that I did a lot of other things, but the thing my parents remind me the most about is that I ate mint and cherry chapstick behind couches as a toddler and also I to clean with windex, which may describe my anal retentive qualities despite being wildly creative (or so I’m told). Before that I was a twinkle in my parents’ eyes.
